True Handleless Kitchen for @Our.Selfbuild.Journey
A couple of years ago, our clients made the incredible decision to build their own dream house, from scratch, themselves. In the perfect, picturesque location they began to plan the main features of their soon to be house. Towards the end of the year, Stonemill Kitchens had the pleasure of designing their ideal space, with a vast centre island at the centre.
Last year, Stonemill started the installation process with a completely blank canvass. True Handleless doors in stunning Dark Marble and Matt Dust Grey were chosen to give a light and dark contrast throughout. The beautiful Centre Island is wrapped in waterfall worktop edges, framing this extraordinary aspect. Hidden Neff appliances are scattered along one side, with the other detailing a useful breakfast bar, comfortably seating four guests.
The surface of the centre island holds a one and a half bowl Franke undermount sink , with Quooker Boiling Water Tap. In addition, a Neff Induction Hob with the impressive Neff Downdraft Extractor Hood, that disappears with a touch of a button when not in use, sits flawlessly to the right of the sink.
Opposite the centre island, the Black Marble is showcased once again surrounded this time by the Matt Grey Tall units, holding Two Neff Combinations Ovens, a Microwave and to portray the perfect aesthetic, a built in wine cooler.
The Utility room sits just off to one side of the kitchen, and holds an additional sink, with two full height larders in the same Matt Dust Grey, one hiding the washing machine and the other used for storage.
In addition to the kitchen and utility, Stonemill were commissioned to build bespoke wardrobes to fit in each of the three bedrooms. The Master bedroom conveys built in wardrobes in Matt Anthracite, with the two children’s bedrooms in a Matt Light Grey. Each wardrobe has full height doors to utilise the space available, with integrated drawers and hanging rails.
What an honour for Stonemill to be a small part of this amazing build. It has been a real pleasure to watch our clients transform this field into their luxury dream home.
