Our clients at Welshwood Park decided to remodel their kitchen and create a new utility room by converting part of their garage. The result was a stunning Shaker kitchen design that blends traditional charm with modern functionality.
A Sophisticated Shaker Kitchen Design
After a detailed consultation with our design team, the clients chose the Barns Ash Shaker Kitchen in soft grey. This elegant color scheme pairs beautifully with the Marengo Quartz worktops by Silestone. The contrast between the light Shaker-style doors and dark countertops adds sophistication and elegance to the space.
Social and Functional: The Perfect Kitchen Layout
A standout feature of this Shaker kitchen is the three-person breakfast bar with an integrated wine fridge. It’s perfect for socializing, entertaining guests, or everyday family use.
Modern Appliances Meet Classic Design
Under the kitchen window, we installed a Franke Kubus Undermount sink in Fragranite Quartz. Paired with a Franke Minverva Irena 3-in-1 Boiling Tap, the sink area combines style and convenience. The boiling tap delivers true 100-degree boiling water on demand, along with regular hot and cold water, making meal prep easier and faster for our clients.
The kitchen also features Neff double ovens, a hob, extractor hood, and integrated appliances. Full-length Shaker-style kitchen doors discreetly hide the Neff fridge and freezer, maintaining the kitchen’s sleek appearance.
Temporary Kitchen for Hassle-Free Installation
Our clients were the first to experience our Temporary Elfin Kitchen, a unique feature we offer. This miniature kitchen includes a microwave, dual electric hob, fridge, and sink, allowing them to prepare meals while their main kitchen was being transformed.
Complete Kitchen and Utility Room Remodel
This project was a full kitchen installation, from stripping out the old kitchen to rewiring, plastering, and adding new lighting. We even cut through a new doorway and built the utility room from scratch. Once completed, the project was signed off by Building Control, ensuring every aspect met building regulations.
