Mr & Mrs Mansfield were looking to change their farmhouse style kitchen for an updated modern design with key eye catching features.

Over several consultations they finally chose to install two tone units, Concrete for the bottom section and Dark Walnut for the top.  The Dark Walnut was also chosen for the full length cupboard, the outside casing of the floating wall unit and to create a custom built breakfast bar.

A minimalist handle was fitted to the Concrete units, keeping with the modern feel of the space. The Dark Walnut units each contain a true handleless rail system in the doors with integrated LED lights, ensuring all components are hidden from view, resulting in a seamless streamlined appearance.

The worktops are Encore Resin in an Ice finish, accentuating the dark toned breakfast bar and wall units and the modern lighter Concrete base units. The resin material ensures the work surfaces are hard wearing and easy to maintain, smooth to the touch and feature a marble effect design which complements the steel, white and wood colour scheme running through the kitchen.

Mr & Mrs Mansfield chose a Schock Waterfall sink and Grohe Ambi Cosmopolitan mixer tap to add style and sophistication.  In addition, they installed a 900mm width Rangemaster Professional Plus cooker with 5 Gas hob and a Samsung slimline digital extractor hood, both emitting a sleek design and creating the main focal point of the kitchen.

To complete the project, Malmo Axel flooring was laid from the bi-fold doors at the rear of the house, through the kitchen and hallway, finishing at the front door. The continuation of the flooring, ensures a natural flow to the downstairs of the house, emphasising the new contemporary feel to the completed kitchen.
