This Beautiful Blue Slim Shaker Kitchen In Hutton underwent an incredible transformation from a small, dark, and awkward space to a light, bright extended kitchen. Which flows to a functional dining room and outdoor patio area.
Initially, plans were made to knock through into our client’s dining room and create a larger kitchen diner, with an enclosed lounge to the front of the house. The existing back door was bricked up and a small window was added to let additional light into the bigger space.

Quickstep Livyn Silk Oak Dark Grey Flooring was installed before the new kitchen was set in place and the worktops were templated and fitted also.
Our clients chose a bespoke paint colour, Prussian Blue slim shaker kitchen, for their doors and matched this with oak carcasses and shelving display cabinets. The Fenton door style is a Slim shaker, where the frame on each door is slimmer than the standard width shakers so often seen. The skinny shaker gives a contemporary look whilst keeping the traditional shaker frame and woodgrain.
Merino 20mm Quartz Worktops with a stunning waterfall edge near the kitchen entrance are complemented by the white open top fish scale tiles used as an upstand and splashback for the CDA Induction Hob. Above the hob is an integrated extractor fan with a custom made and painted housing to hide the appliance and fit perfectly with this stylish kitchen.
A feature double Pantry with drawers,, shelving and integrated worktop with electrical point for our clients baking appliances sits centrally in the kitchen between their American Fridge/Freezer and Neff Hide and Slide Oven and Microwave. The pantry also holds two oak spice racks on either door as well as two bespoke wine racks either side of the lower drawer set.
On the opposite side of the kitchen, a double ceramic butler sink with Franke Minerva 3 in 1 boiling water tap is situated directly beneath a double window and long stretch of work surface perfect for our client to prepare meals and entertain guests.
