A Beautiful Handmade In-frame Kitchen in Wickham Bishops

This stunning Handmade In-frame kitchen in Wickham Bishops was built for a new extension. The goal was to extend the existing kitchen, creating a light and open kitchen diner. Once the extensive building works were complete, our Stonemill Kitchens designers met with the clients to discuss ideas for their dream kitchen. The centerpiece would be a large Centre Island, complemented by a dresser unit and full-height wall units housing double Neff ovens.

The existing kitchen showcased a deep blue Aga Oven, which stayed in place throughout the installation. To match this feature, the clients selected Stepping Stone bespoke painted finishes for the Centre Island, with Porcelain-painted dresser and tall wall units to add light to the space. The kitchen doors followed an Oak-painted, In-frame design with Edwardian Craft Centre Panel detailing, keeping the traditional, luxurious feel of the home intact.

Stunning Details and Quality Craftsmanship

The Neff double ovens were fitted into the tall wall units, while the Neff Flex Induction Hob with touch controls was installed on the Centre Island. Integrated Neff appliances, including a dishwasher, fridge, and freezer, were also seamlessly included.

The Handmade Centre Island featured a Bianco Sardo Granite worktop so large that four people were needed to lift it into place. This vast island allowed for two sinks—one Double Butler Franke by Villeroy & Boch and a small round Caple undermount ceramic sink. The Butler sink featured a Perrin & Rowe filter tap, while the Caple sink was equipped with a Nordic Quooker Boiling Water Tap, providing instant hot water for drinks. Additionally, an integrated pull-up charging point created the perfect spot to charge your phone while preparing meals.

Warm lighting in the dresser unit added a welcoming glow upon entering from the grand hallway. With its solid oak worktop and glass doors, the dresser offered a glimpse into the beautiful items stored within.

Crofts and Assinder Monmouth Iron Lacquered Cup and Knob handles adorned each door and drawer. The iron effect aged the handles, enhancing the kitchen’s sophisticated, classic style.
